SFC Timothy Coombs, originally from New Jersey, joined the Soldiers’ Chorus in 2014. He received his Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from Westminster Choir College. While at Westminster, he studied voice with Marvin Keenze and sang in the world-renowned Symphonic Choir and Westminster Choir. SFC Coombs has performed with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra, Philadelphia Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, and The Lucerne Festival Orchestra. He has appeared in opera productions with Spoleto Festival USA, Bard Summerscape, and Opera Philadelphia. Additionally, he has sung with Kinnara Ensemble, Fuma Sacra, Choir of Trinity Wall Street, Cathedra, and The Crossing. When not singing in the Soldiers’ Chorus, SFC Coombs is also a Tenor at the Washington National Cathedral and The Basilica of the National Shrine.
